The Uncrowned - Engine failure

CMDR’s Log-The mobile base had a catastrophic engine failure and we have ended up on the border of the Empyrean Straits. It will take over an hour to depart to our next location; however, I decided to cancel the hyper jump and stick it out here for a while. The system we are in I discovered a couple of years ago, so I had her orbit the earth like planet.
Sensors have indicated two other mobile fleet carriers 435 to 635 LY away from our location. My best guess is those CMDRs are doing exobiology missions like me. Plenty of systems out here in the Empyrean Straits, so I don’t think I’ll run into them.
Galnet has stated the second Titan has gone down! That’s great news for everyone back home in the Bubble! My crew and I have missed out on most of the war. Did a few dogs fights and achieved 18 kills, but the Void called us back into its embrace.
Hopefully, the crew and I will be back home in the next few weeks. The exobiology discoveries have gone better than I hoped. At the moment I will rest overnight on this rock teeming with strange life. I will keep the ship on complete lockdown before closing my eyes and keep my rifle glued close. Even though this planet life hasn’t moved one day I fear one of us explores will run into something on two or more legs with hostile intent.
